I  have heard reference to this many times, but I wondered what people used to do it.  All GPSs will have some level of "drift", and the track you have may be a little "ragged".  Just curious, but what software do you use to smooth out these anomalies?

    Thanks

I edit my tracks manually using the Garmin software.  I look for any points that are way out of line and delete them.

Well, I was hoping to get more feedback from some of the more knowledgeable GPS users, but maybe doing it manually is the best way.  If anyone has any other methods, I'd love to hear them.

Some day I'll be able to get back to the trails at higher elevations!  Maybe September?

    Thanks
