Anyone available for day-hikes mid-week? My work schedule reguarly gives me days off and am looking for companions. I have no specific plans but would love to get outdoors this Thursday or Wed/Thurs next week. Would take suggestions for hikes as I am new to the area and just want to explore. I am an experienced mid-20s hiker looking to do moderate 5-15 mile trips, possible overnights. Thanks!

Yes, I'll soon be able to do this.  I plan on doing a lot of weekday hikes including multiple days in the woods.  I'll be posting even though I don't usually plan very far in advance.  Also, I think nyxlily posted something similar a few days ago.

I live out in the Gorge and have a flexible schedule. I would be up for some mid-week hikes if you ever come this way!

Well, it's sorta mid-week.. I'm planning a Crater Lake backpacking from the 19th to 21st if you're interested.

My goal is to gather a total of 8 people. Hopefully I'll find someone who's willing to do the second carpool :)

Sounds wonderful, but I can't do it that weekend.  That the second hike for that weekend I've had to turn down.

Anyone up for hiking in the Gorge on next Monday or Wednesday?  I'm thinking about Herman Creek right now, but am open to other trails.
