This is the first new wilderness to be added to Washington's national forests since 1984:

I'm glad this went through, but what's happening to our Lewis and Clark (Mt. Hood) Wilderness Bill? If it doesn't pass this year, they'll have to start all over again in the next Congress.
May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Here's some info from the OregonWild:   http://www.oregonwild.org/about/press-room/press-clips/free-wilderness-bills  and a place you can send in your concerns and comments: http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1780/t/430/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=6797
