    Found this big guy in the Goat Rocs W. it was huge, it felt dry and smooth like leather.

    Yeh Charley my wife and I could`nt believe our eyes. The stalk was as big around as my forearm. I`d say it was growing at about 5500 ft. elev. with a westerly exposure 20 ft. down from the ridge line. Any idea what kind it could be?

    My guess would be a King Bolete.
