Hey can anyone please help me figure out how to get a pic on avatar. I`ve been trying to figure it out with no luck.

left click on your user name and it should bring up a page that includes a number of folders

left click on the "avatar" folder

left click on "browse"

select the picture for your avatar

left click "update"

it should say "Your profile has been updated. It may take up to 10 minutes for changes to take effect."

I'd wait until PortlandHikers has migrated to its new site and software--hopefully it will be a lot easier!
